Because it is now out on DVD, I thought I would share my review again.
I don’t even know where to start. I am still trying to recover and compose myself. There is a lump in my throat after having a panic attack for two hours.
This is a must see. I knew this would be good, because pretty much everything with Liam Neeson is awesome, but this went way beyond my expectations. I thought I would be watching an action/adventure film, plain and simple, but there was a deep meaning to the entire story. It was extremely emotional, dramatic, heart-wrenching, traumatic, and even painful to watch. I had no idea I would be brought to tears so often. I almost started sobbing at one point.
The acting was superb, and Liam Neeson wasn’t even the best of them all. James Badge Dale (24 and The Pacific) was excellent in the few scenes he had. Joe Anderson (Across the Universe) was fantastic and this is…
